Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubicum, metamorphic units, Šumava Mts. Large series of rocky outcrops exhibiting biotite orthogneisses formed of a granite protolite. Exact age of intrusion is not known. According to radiometric data Early Palaeozoic age is presumed.
